One of the sweetest books I have read is Chicken soup for kids soul.
It has stories from all over the world about how kids perceive this world. Stories of how kids expressed courage, love, sadness, laughter and most of all innocence!
One such story which I will always remember is once a kid is drawing something on a piece of paper. His grandfather asks him “What is it that you are drawing kid?” He says, ” I am drawing God”. Grandfather starts laughing at the innocence of the kid and asks, “oh, have you seen God. You are just 4!” The kid looks up in an instant and asks ” Have you? You are 65!”
Well, like I said before, kids look at their world in their own way. They are born in a timeline much later than yours, so appreciate if they see a different world than what you saw in your timeline.
There may be a lot new things for you to learn via their lens! Give them that chance.. and give one to yourself too
Love, light and magic,
Bhakti
